What is Truckly?

Truckly is a mobile app that connects you to a pick-up and a driver willing to help and looking to make money. We want to utilize pick-up trucks and empower their drivers by offering more creative ways and services that they can offer using their vehicles. Doing so, not only do our drivers have the freedom to choose when to work, but also the freedom to choose the services they would like to offer. So, with Truckly you can request a pick-truck to get anything moved or hauled, a battery jump, tire changing service in the event of a flat and in the event that you run out of gas, Truckly can bring it to you. We also offer Waterless Carwash service that is both eco-friendly and less abrasive on your paint, all with a tap of a few buttons.

How much does it cost?

The cost is calculated by the type of service, time and distance. We currently charge $1.00 per driving mile, $1.00 per driving minute and $1.00 per minute of labor at each location. When you set your pickup and drop-off addresses in the app, you can see your estimate at the top of the screen before requesting.

How long does it take for a driver to show up?

Your driver will usually arrive at the pickup location within an hour or less. Once a request has been made you’ll receive updates until the request is completed

What areas does Truckly cover?

At Truckly, we’re constantly working to bring our services to more cities. Currently, we’re servicing Orange County and are moving into the Greater Los Angeles area. If you reside in another region and would like to be notified when our services become available near you, join our mailing list and we will keep you posted.

How do I pay for a request?

All payments are done within the app. We verify your credit card when you submit a request. Your payment is then processed upon completion of the request

How do I know when my request is complete?

The Truckly App will notify you via in app message, and text message when your service is complete.

Do I need to use the mobile app to request service?

No. you can also use our web site.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Yes. There is a $15 cancellation fee for requests that are cancelled after a driver accepts and is on his way.

What is the application/approval process for a Truckly Trusted Driver ?

All of our drivers undergo criminal and motor vehicle background checks before they are allowed access to our system.

I want to be a driver, how do I apply?

Moving and Delivery

How many items can I move/deliver?

Whatever can fit into the back of a Pickup Truck. If it can’t all fit into one trip, be option is to request a second pick-up to make sure all of your items get delivered.

Will the drivers bring my items inside?

Yes, of course! The driver will help you get your items right where you want them, even if you have stairs.

Can I have multiple pickups in a single request?

We currently do not have anything in place to accommodate for multiple requests. Each request would need to be completed before making another one.

Can Truckly help me move items within my home or from the street to the inside of my home?

Yes, of course! When submitting the request just set the pickup and drop off as the same location and our drivers will arrive to help you move whatever you need.

Can I tip my movers?

Yes! , While tips are not required,if you feel that you have been provided with excellent service, the drivers are free to accept cash tips..

How do I communicate with my Driver?

Once a driver accepts your request, you can use our in app messaging to connect with your driver.

Does a Truckly driver disassemble/assemble my items?

A mover is only required to physically move the item from point A to point B. Movers expect the item to be appropriately packed beforehand.

Can I ride in the same vehicle as my stuff?

We don’t move people as of yet, but you never know what the future holds!

My building requires moving companies to provide a certificate of insurance for a specified amount. Can Truckly furnish this?

We cannot provide a certificate of insurance at this moment. It’s something we’re diligently working on, so please check again later! In the meantime, if you are able to take items inside then we can arrange to hand them to you just outside the building.

Car Help

What type of car help can I request?

Truckly connects you to people readily available near you to help you get up and running in no time. Download the app, and we’ll be there when you need us. We can help get you gas, a jump, or help changing your tire in case of a flat.

How much does it cost?

The cost is a flat fee for all the car help related services offered by the drivers, that even includes the cost of one gallon of gas to get you to a gas station nearby.

Can I request mechanical service?

No, our providers can help you with simple break downs to get you going again.

Waterless Carwash

What’s a Waterless Car Wash?

Waterless Car Wash is a pre-mixed spray-on/wipe off detailer which safely saturates and removes surface contaminants and leaves your vehicle shiny and spotless. The solutions are designed to ‘lift’ dirt off a vehicle paint to help ensure a scratch-free wipe off. It breaks down road grime, while leaving a smooth and protected finish on the paint. Also, the spray-on method eliminates untreated runoff and conserves up to 80 gallons of water per wash.

How long does a waterless carwash take?

Our waterless carwash completion times vary by the size of vehicle, condition of vehicle and service selected.
Estimated time per service:

#1 Econo 15-30 min (Exterior Wash)
#2 Deluxe 30-60 min (Exterior, Interior and wheels)
#3 premium 60-90 min (All plus interior deep cleaning and wipe down)

If you have your vehicle serviced at home it normally takes 15 minute to set up and 15 minutes to pack up our equipment.
If you have your vehicle serviced at a commercial location – office park, parking deck, etc. Your key pick-up times and key return times may be extended for a variety of operational reasons. If you need your car back by a certain time, please let us know when scheduling your appointment.

How do I get my keys to the Truckly Driver?

Put your keys in an envelope and leave it at the front desk of your office or work. If you are at home you may hand the keys to the driver.

Where do I park my vehicle?

For service at home, simply leave your car in the driveway. If you have a preference, please let us know when scheduling.
For services at work, park where your office administrator has designated. If we are new to your office, please let the driver know where you parked on your key drop envelope and through the app. For example: “Back lot, last row, left corner if looking away from building”
(just for extra measures, it also may be helpful to add license plate number on the outside of the envelope as well)

What about valuables in the car?

We request that you remove all items of value, such as: cell phones, computers, electronics, cell phone chargers, sun glasses, cash, MP3 players, head sets, etc.
If the client does not remove valuables it is at the drivers discretion to bag and set aside items or leave in vehicle where they were found. Neither Truckly or the driver are liable for lost items.
Truckly is not liable for any loss or damage of non-factory installed accessories, valuables, cash, change, etc. is the client’s responsibility.
